Q: #DearBella, what’s your take on sleeping with friends?

A: Dearest, I am all for it.

But f*cking our friends is always dicey. Sex releases hormones like dopamine and oxytocin. These hormones are responsible for helping us to attach to others and fall in love.

Sometimes it can be hard to hold boundaries and keep feelings in check. Often f*ck buddies have a habit of turning into more, which isn’t necessarily a bad thing.

Make sure you both are clear where you stand before you start shagging.

Be honest with each other.

A solid friendship can endure many things, but a love-struck jealous friend can be a real buzz killer.

Good Luck.

Keep it real and stay in your heart

Xoxo, Bella

PS: As with most questions I receive there are multiple ways to answer them. A single, twenty-three-year-old girl posed this question to me. My answer was formulated to serve her.
